Community Paint Day

Join us in celebrating Black History Month through the power of art! We invite our community members to come paint with us on weekends at the Cherry St pier, from 12pm-4pm. You will have the opportunity to volunteer and assist Sam Rodriguez, a talented local artist, in creating portraits of notable African Americans who have made significant contributions to our society.

Bring your friends and family, and let's come together to pay homage to these important figures while learning about their stories and impact. No prior painting experience is necessary, just come with an open mind and a willingness to have fun and create something meaningful. We look forward to painting with you!
