City Year 25th Anniversary Mural – Philadelphia

Walls for Justice partnered with City Year to design and create a mural celebrating City Year’s 25th Anniversary and its long-standing commitment to service and education. The project brought together hundreds of volunteers who participated in the mural-making process, using art as a tool to promote civic engagement and positive social change.

Through this collaboration, volunteers, staff, and community members worked side by side to create a meaningful public artwork that reflects shared values of service, leadership, and community impact. The mural stands as a lasting tribute to City Year’s work and the collective effort of the many individuals who contributed to its mission over the past 25 years.

This project demonstrates the power of partnerships between organizations and community-based initiatives like Walls for Justice. By working together, art becomes a powerful way to unite people, strengthen communities, and create lasting positive change.
