Girls Justice League Arts & Activism Workshop – Philadelphia
Walls for Justice partnered with Girls Justice League to lead an Arts and Activism workshop that introduced students to creative methods of public expression. Through the program, participants learned about art as a tool for social change and explored ways to share their voices in public spaces.
As part of the workshop, students were introduced to wheatpaste techniques and created their own public artworks, allowing them to transform their ideas and messages into visible forms of creative activism. The project encouraged students to think critically about the issues that matter to them while gaining hands-on experience with accessible public art techniques.
This workshop reflects Walls for Justice’s commitment to empowering young people through art, giving them the tools and confidence to express their ideas and engage with their communities.
