National Liberty Museum Mural – Philadelphia
Walls for Justice collaborated with the National Liberty Museum to create a mural that reflected the museum’s mission of promoting freedom, equality, and civic engagement through art. The project was developed in connection with the museum’s summer programming and complemented the exhibition “Graphic Content,” which highlighted artists using creative expression as a form of social commentary to address inequality and injustice.
The mural served as both a visual centerpiece and an extension of the exhibition, helping visitors engage with the themes of social awareness and creative activism beyond the gallery space. By bringing public art into the museum environment, the project created an accessible and meaningful way for audiences to reflect on important social issues through visual storytelling.
This collaboration demonstrates Walls for Justice’s commitment to partnering with cultural institutions to use art as a tool for education, dialogue, and community engagement.
